They will, you will still need to custom fit the piping, make a custom manifold, injectors, fuel pump, etc.
You'd be better served and save money by piecing a turbo kit together yourself. Several guys on this forum have built a turbo kit for less than 2 grand. Probably not with new parts, but you can save money and have boost too.

i was lookin at this cuz it was cheaper only 2k and i no ppl hav built good custm kits cheap but i dont no enough to make a custom kit. id do reasearch and build one but even then i dont trust that it would work.
it seems like it uses the same concept since turbo is run by exhaust. thats pretty much a universal kit..so you still would have to do some custom designing to make it work.
i would do the research i just dont trust a custom kit or anything thats not proven. im also having a hard time finding the piping i would need for a turbo kit. i like the rrm kit but im just tryin to find something cheaper.

None of these kits offer any manifolds. You than need to get one fabricated or buy one that fits a t3/t4 flange. The universal kit your looking at doesn't offer a FMU or FPR the ebay kit does.
This one is located in japan...would take awhile to get to you, but could be worth it.

600 dollars for a turbo kit? its gotta b a POS. no way a 600 dollar kit could compete w the 4200 dollar kit rrm sells. i still want a decent kit. im tryin to find a good balance between quality and price. rrm is the best there is but its to expensive for me, i want somethign just a lil bit cheaper like 2k - 2.5k
and the one from japan is for the 4g63 and 4g62 engine. my car has the 4g64

well that kit on ebay does look dependable. It can't compete with RRM because their kit is an actual whole. The ones i posted were universal kits like the ones your looking at. If your looking for a kit that has a name heres one

oh wow thoes r some good finds. they all look legit but r thoes kits good? im thinkin bout gettin the superior kit from rc turbo now. that seems perfect for me, rigth in my price range. but i just wanna make sure its dependable and i wanna make sure ill get a decent amount of power outa of it.
edit: btw im lookin to get about 200 - 250 hp outa my car in the end. im prob gonna get new pistons and rods and bumb the boost up to 10, maybe few other mods. u think ill get the numbers im lookin for if i do that?

OK, do you guys know what a remote mount is? That's the rear mounted turbos (usually) in place of the muffler or anywhere else in the exhaust. It's good because you don't need a manifold. You have it put into your exhaust pipe. I was planning on doing this when I started my build but decided against it.
The money you save on a turbo manifold, you end up spending on a pump to return the oil from the rear of the vehicle up to the motor.
Turbos get very hot, imagine after a hard drive, you hit a puddle and the turbo gets cold water splashed on it. It could crack.
Rather than all the short pipes in the engine bay, you'd need to run the compressor pipe all the way back to the throttle body. I couldn't find much room and it would end up close to the exhaust, defeating one purpose of a rear mount (no intercooler needed since the return pipe to the TB acts as a cooling system).
With our MAF sensor, you'd have to extend wires all the way to the back of the car, or run the intake pipe with filter and sensor all the way back into the engine bay. I wouldn't trust having my MAF sensor under the car where it could get easily damaged.
But other than that it's just like any other turbo kit. You need the same parts. I think they look cool. I wanted one after I saw one on a WS6. I'd say stick with the normal turbo in the engine bay. It's less of a pain and is proven to work if done right.

Also, if you get pistons and rods, you could probably turn the boost passed 10 psi. And with that you'd definately get the numbers you're looking for if it gets tuned right.
