evo 8 full cat back on 03 lancer es?

ok so im going to put a evo 8 16g turbo in my car but can i put a full cat back from a evo 8 ?to so that i dont have to have a muffler shop do my exhaust on my lancer ? will it bolt up or will it need some modification to make it work?

It depends on the manifold downpipe bolt pattern. I'm sure you can get the cat-back and have it customized at the shop.

If he uses an Evo turbo and O2 housing, the dowpipe fits great, it just needs to be extended a little bit.

if i had to do it all over i would have just bought the aftermarket exhaust that fits since the exhaust pipe doesnt run the same rout the lancer exhaust does which if you look at the pics of my car in the link posted the exhaust runs below the back tire instead of above it which is fine but its very low and some driveways and speed bump pose some scraping issues and if there are more than 1 person in the car i scrap going up and down some hills but you can make it work if your ok with having it hang low

now i dont the the sensor on mine thats where we cut to make what of the lancer exhaust we had to use cause if you try to bolt a evo exhaust to a lancer it comes up short

So I found out why that happens. When I put my evo downpipe on, it is actually close to the length of the stock downpipe and the cat together...
