But your looking somewhere between 170-175 to the wheels. Thats a stock auto. You can only boost between 5-7 psi. Cant do Intercooler unless you do it as a custom job (which is what I plan on doing). You might wanna buy a Transmission cooler to keep things cool. The run like $45 or so. I got a Flex-A-Lite for $40. I also started a group buy on upgraded Torque Converters for us auto lancers. Takes anywhere from .25 to 1 second off your quater mile time. Look the thread up. Its titled "Auto Lancers Enter Here".

AT or MT you're still creating (more or less) the same HP and putting (again more or less) the same down.

yea, but due to drivetrain loss i would think a MT gets more out to the wheels than an auto, that guy ntrans dynoed his car at 172 to the wheels, with enough modifications, im sure certain turboed autos could be faster than turboed manuals, of course with diff mods, but still, its feasible, im hoping to get mine running in the high 180s to 190s to the wheels :]

the auto does take about 4-10% of the power away. there is loss in heat (of the fluid) and fluid coupling between the impeller and turbine in the torque converter causes slipping and loss.

Thanx for the great feedback guys, Lately I've been deciding if I still wanna go all out show.(Plus Intake and Exhaust). Then when my 5 years(Paying off the Lancer) end trade the ole lancer to get a few grand off a new evolution or maybe get some cash off for the skylines coming in!

true to a point, the high performance torque converter will only have a loss rate of about 2-4% but what helps is your stall speed will be close to 2800-3000 so you will be in boost instantly
