God that guy filming is annoying, I would've e-braked passenger side of the car into a wall.

 

Thats not from shifting, thats just when letting off the gas pedal. Automatic turbos dont sound off when they shift because they stay in boost between gears. It's just like a stick shift, which only makes the sound when the throttle is closed, except in a stick shift you have to let off the throttle to shift, in an auto...no.

 

hi all, ive been lurking the past few days, but i finally joined since i just bought a 2010 Lancer GTS CVT. i want to turbo it as well but havnt found much info about it. can anyone here point me in the right direction please?

 

Yup, is there any who already install it? all of us lancer cvt owner want to know..
i trust RRM for their great stuff..but i want to see the real cvt turbo fitted.

I only know of one person who has a CVT turbo..and its not RRM. It is the person in the vid posted above. hes overseas and has the 1.8L i believe

 

^^thank you, exactly what i was about to say. i got 5k that i want to invest in the turbo, but i aint gonna void my warranty blah blah etc.
and throw my money if it aint gonna be worth it. RRM is shady about the parts without detail...grrr

 

damn man you got 5k for turbo?? do it yourself! if you want, I can help you out with it since im in Melbourne too! im hopefully going to be re-turboing mine this summer, so you can come by and check it out and maybe even help haha

 

yea i got money for it, i actually bought my 09 gts feb 3rd. we should meet up one day or something.

but besides the turbo i got 18x8 msr wheels, 10k hid low/hi and 3k fog, eibach prokit lowering springs, carbon fiber evo x hood and rrm flat black front lip.

its a burnt orange kind of color. i just put my 10k hid and carbon fiber hood on. im the only one in town basically! lol

Only one available for the 4B12 in the 2010 GTS to my knowledge, unless you go custom.
