See my problem is i understand MT has the advantage because of torque put down, i would like to swap my AT but i dont know the cost if its gonna kill me to do that and work right, so for AT transmission, i'm wondering how far it can be pushed if it and if it would be fast AT, i knoe its been done but i dont want to put money into it and get nothing, which im sure everyone understands put what u want out of it.

yea im going to have to ask, cause i am still deciding on which one i want to go with a 16G or the t3/t4, but i just dont know the hard facts of what they can crank out i know the 16G spools up quicker and can handle alot of boost, but the t3/t4 spool time is a little slower, but my main question is neck to neck and cost which will prevail on a set up for daily/ street strip

Well I'm boosted with a custom 16g kit and total cost ( not including professional tunig but I'm doing it myself) came under $1000.
There are quite a few turbo, a/t, lancers on this site. Just check around, 16g and t3/t4 kits are the most common.
I'm at the same point as you as far as modding it further. I really want to do the swap, but I'm not sure if I should put that money into the lancer since I know that I will never get it to the level of performance that I want out of it. RIght now itt's a great daily driver to be honest.
