Rock, are thoes numbers you posted lancers that just had a turbo installed? No exhaust, headers, test pipe, etc?

Also, is 5 psi as high as you reccomend us auto guys going? or can we go up to 7 for race day? thanks

i am running 5 psi on my auto, i am too wondering the same. with some better gas i think 6 or 7 may be possible, however the auto tranny does have some limitations in our torque converter fins are fairly weak but besides that the auto tranny really hasnt been tested.

Thoes were my concerns exactly. I think it as NTran that had the first turbo auto lancer and he blew his racing at 8psi...I'm sure we could go up to 7 for daily use with that torque converter upgrade that Level 10 (or whatever) is working on. but that wont be available for a little while. Whats the word Rob?

Yes they are strong enough to hold 7 psi on a daily basis. But they do recommend that if you do anything higher (8 psi +) to get new pistons I believe.

liquid wasssup homie!! cant forget joe :O damn it seems like ages since ive got anything new for my car, work/school ****ing sucks :/ hopefully someone will buy my damn truck sooooon, then the car gets some new sheit

about the horsepower, ROCK's number are right cuz i raced alot of people back in the day and the closest race i had was between a civic with a b18 and his dyno'd at 188 whp, i beat him by 1/2 car, so im about 193-195 or something. that is 6 psi intercooled. but everyones car is different. aite peace!

a lot of people forget the wieght difference... most gst's not gutted or weight dropped are actually 3200+lbs. They are heavier than our cars and thus with more hp we will eat them up... i have many times... also track times shouldn't be your basis on the kits. Racing on the road is actually different then the track. Usually don't pull from stop... even if you do your both subject to less stressful situations like tree's, spectators, etc. Hell i took wrx's out all the time... same rsx's and even a boosted integra. The car is so damn fast and the gearing also helps out as well. Put a turbo'd lancer up against most who are at same hp but stock wieght and the lancer will usually win. Hell i even pulled an evo when i was non-intercooled at 9psi on the road. Come to a meet or find a local turbo'd lancer and see for yourself. They are a formidable foe
