Well i decided to sell my Dirt bike and ATV for a turbo. Gonna list them on ebay in a week or 2. Then RRM should have a HUGE Turbo sale because i want one!!!! Every body should have a turbo so that way no one will laugh at us lancers......

Im getting my turbo from RRM next week hopefully and there is a big demand for the turbos now. So if you want one you better save up your money quick. The price will probably go up again soon since soon it will be CARB legal which will be sweet!!!

Good luck on preaching for that turbo sale but that isn't going to happen until I become governor of ca. DAMNIT why didnt i run.

Rob only has sales when he is overstocked on certain items. Turboes are something he doesnt get overstocked on, thus he never has sales for them. That's just what I know about how RRM's sales work. I may be wrong, so correct me if I am wrong Rob.

Gotta remember a lot of parts in the kit often increase in price/fluxuate. If extra cost get put into kit due to this then the kit price needs to go up.
With CARB Cert coming i've been urging people to get it before it really jumps in price. I believe all they require is a 50% deposit to lock in current price. Otherwise you'll be stuck with the aftermath of higher pricing!

well then get your deposits in. I locked in at the lower price last time because I had my $$$ in.

They arent jacking the price to make more, they are raising the price to cover increased parts cost and R&D on the CARB, which if anyone has researched sure as hell aint cheap.

RRM isnt trying to screw anyone, infact they are one of the only companies showing us love.

Take it all in stride, their kit is awsome no matter the price.

You get what you pay for and CARB legal turbo kits are expensive no matter who makes em, look at GReddy USA's they are bank to get their CARB kits.

guys there was a price jump, but it was so insignificant. It went from $3999.00 to $4099.00, a whopping $100! It's worth it, if u have saved $4k already I think another $100 wont be that bad!

yes keep in mind guys that Rob spent a lot of money to get his kit tested for CARB certification. The price hike in the turbo is just to help him cover some of the costs he went through.

And as far as a turbo sale, good luck, as I think Rob's profit margin on turbo kits at regular price aren't even 10%. It's not an easy project.

To put it simple in buisness terms...
"supply & demand"
Why lower a price on something that there is a demand on?
That would be like telling Mitsubishi to lower the price on the Evolution because you bought a Lancer but really want a Evo.
So far RRM is the only company that seems to make a full turbo kit that is made for our Lancers...now maybe if Lancer turbos could be found at every autozone or pep boys then maybe they would be cheaper.
You have to remember...RRM is still a buisness , they will help us out any way they can (like they allways do) but if they no longer make money then how can they stay in buisness?
