Time to play

So after much research and hours reading others threads i have settled on what i want to throw in my car. I will be buying the core pieces for my kit off of Senate.

So here's my list:
Garrett T3 Super 60 .42 a/r \ $1100
Custom RamHorn Manifold /
Evo VIII FMIC- $110
Evo IX Piping- $60
WRX 440's
Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
Tial 38mm External Wastegate
NGK Iridium Heat Range 6 Spark Plugs

I still cant decide on whether to go with the Forge Recirculation Valve or go with a Greddy Type RS BOV.... if you guys want to weigh in on the pros and cons i would appreciate it.

Also I know i am still missing thing but with out being able to look at the parts in front of me its hard to get a list straight.

Things you will need......
-Custom downpipe (can be built by most competant exhaust shops).
-Something to control your fuel trims (ECUFlash tune recommended)
-Boost + Wideband guage a must. Recommended an EGT gauge too
-Extra $$ for extra piping and hose couplings. The evo pipes might or might not line up perfectly. Mine didnt, others did. Depends on the setup
-Clutch is a must. You're gonna start slipping before you know it
-Oil feed line kit
-more extra $$ and time for all of the little problems that are gonna creep up in the install

as for the BOV. I really loved the Greddy Type S i had on my setup when i was running turbo. Great sound even when recirc'd

to add onto his list..

dont NEED an egt, and definably do need a few extra $s for fluids and small nik naks u might need.. go ahead and drain ALL your fluids when u do the install(oil, coolant, trans, boost fluid, blinker fluid, so on...) some people try to do as little as possible, just pull it all out safely without damaging anything, and put it all back together right.

also u will need 2x 12'' fans, i suggest the cheapo's off ebay, there all about the same, so u can move your fans infront of the radiator instead of behind(will need to do this for clearence)

get a exhaust flange for the turbo if u dont have a downpipe. and a local exhaust shop sound be able to take care of it for cheap, might not looks really pretty, but it will work(plus u probably wont be able to see it, so it doesnt have to look pretty. lol)

Who the hell pays $1100 for a $600 turbo and $250 for an internal wastegate if you choose?

Also, a forge valve is far better than a greddy. Will last forever and comes with tuning springs

Not him. He paid $1100 for my super 60 turbo, ram horn manifold, intake pipe and downpipe. He liked my manifold so much I gave him first dibs before starting a for sale thread. Not a bad deal, if I say so myself...

Not a bad deal. To bad he didnt type it up like that. Also, garrett doesnt make a "super" 60, its just a t3 60trim. Turbonetics does however make a super 60 which moves a couple lbs/min more than the garrett

I know they both move around 35lbs/min, give or take. It's a nice turbo choice for our 2.0L engines. And matched with the ram horn manifold, spool up is very nice indeed.

And like cincy suggested, I would recommend the Forge recirc valve also. Very high quality valve with swappable springs for different pressures.

Im switching to the APS dual vent. It was a hard choice between that and the forge.

They are deff nice turbos. They are very popular mild and cheaper upgrade for many VW/Audi guys also. They are great turbo that will support right at 300whp with the right setup.
