im sure a few have u have seen a low 10 second mirage.. most always think there 4g63 fwd or awd swaps..

well in peurto rico, the built 4g93's are where its at..
ive seen 10-15 built mirages all running 24-35psi and there all in the low 10 second range, all been around since about 2005 till now.

Current PR record for a 4g93 mirage is 9.3@144 MPH.. (thats on a 60trim t3/to4e, about 650hp with a 70shot nitrous @35psi)
This is the latest creation coming from Steven Hernandez's shop.
Has almost an identical setup to his red and white shop mirages, but this one is going for little over 700hp..

actually dont like the design of it myself. its to complex and could of been simplified alot for much better flow
theres no need for the 90 45 90 45 then another 90.. top mount like that even with the location could have been easilly made with 2x 45s and straights.

i c i c. Hiragana is a form of Japanese writing. the plate is also from Japan. =)
but a 700hp mirage, thats insane.

 

im lookin for a few other mirage setups
i cant seem to find any others from PR.. just pics of the outside of the car, or pics/videos fo them racing.. really annoying u cant see motor setups of cars that are running vreally strong..

i saw a couple that looked like a bunch of modified honda parts just thrown on the mirage.. actually if remember right. the car i have pictures of on here, use to have a bunch of ebay honda parts on it that were modified to fit up (kinda like we do to evo parts)

anyways.. i really do enjoy seeing some SOHC 1.8 and 2.0L motors running in the 9-11secon range.. its awsome to me.. the biggest trash talkin FWD cars are always honda boys, and theres this castiron mitsubishi single cams keepin up with there times, and its all custom/untested stuff!

 

i agree on yah, but damn, how much money do they spend on all of those parts.
