Why dont you do it it's easy. I pulled the motors the first time in my car in a parking lot with hand tools.

Im not a professional mechanic, and i dont want anything to go wrong with the build, and i have no idea what im doing when it comes to boostin, so ill let a professional do the work, and if anything goes wrong in the future i can just take it to him.

How much do you plan on pushing your engine as far as boost?

im prolly gonna start relatively low at first. 7 psi, then 10, then 15, and then we'll see how it holds 15 psi.. but this is my daily driver so im not going all out just yet

I know exactly what your saying. If I had a beater with a heater I would be pushing high boost but like you, it's also my daily driver. 7 lbs is a great start and you'll have noticeable gains. I plan on going 10 lbs right away because I am having JRR flash my ECU so I can run higher boost safely.

But going DOHC your definately going to see better gains obviously than SOHC.

nice.. i gotta start a lil slower, because of the head swap, not many have this head, let alone boosted it.. so experimenting, i want to approach this build carefully/cautiously..

but anywho.. The head was in LA this morning, going through customs, so hopefully tomorrow it will be here

chill man, youll get there. if you want sleep early, read a book, finish a video game in a day so that time will pass by.
