the wiseco pistons, still don't fit, even after soaking in oil.. they are too snug, and dont fit in, but it will be bored on monday. 1/1000 inch, just enough to fit. ill have pics up eventually of the pistons and the fittings

another thing about the rods, they are much thicker than stock (obviously) therefore youre gonna have to trim about 1/4 in grooves at the bottom of each cylinder, front and back otherwise the rods willl come in contact with it and stop its rotation

Well we gotta bore out room for the pistons. Install the the pistons and rods. Port the head. Bolt on the head. Install cams. Adjust pulleys and timing. pretty much build back up. Adjust and install fuel delivery. then mock up turbo kit. Install turbo kit. Do some custom fab. And install gauges. And then tune. so hopefully a week or so. (probably missin a couple steps. But its a long list. also im in class till 6 every day. so i wont be able to update as fast.

Sorry to break it to you, but your manifold is going to crack. Every single person (myself included) that took a 4G63 Megan manifold, cut the flange off and welded a 4G94 flange on has ended up with a cracked manifold. The distance between the inner runners and outer runners is too great and puts too much stress on the existing welds.

well poop sticks. What am i suppose to do? get a new mani? The RRM one, do u have to get a external WGA? I dont want my forge adjustable wga, to go to waste

^^ thats actually very common with MOST cars that are built when u upgrade to much larger rods, alot of cars dont have the clearances, but simple fix, we Plasma'd my block and head apart so we could see all the water passage ways, so we knew exactly how much clearance we could make (also to see how much we could port n polish)

calm, for now, ur manifold will work, but it will not last long.. u will need to start looking into having one custom built for ur car(yes, and it is expensive) but american stainles weld Ls and hand(and some machine) welded manifolds are MUCH MUCH better and stronger then what megan and other eGay knockoff companies make..

simply put, start checking around for a local fabricator that has the knowledge that can build a manifold for you that will do your car justice! (plus, MOST fabricators, garentee all there work, so if something they build does crack, they will fix it!)

oh.. and a custom manifold, with ur turbo setup, will work just fine with ur forge wga.. no need to go external since u have an internally wastegated turbo that will work just fine.
