isn't our rods forged??? i though that what needed to be reinforce was the pistons??? About the sleeves i saw some darton ones somewhere around 600 or something but they were for evo x... would that fit our short blocks??? And will that help with the problem of our short blocks.( u know that they are open deck and cant handle to much psi because they are hollow around the cylinders)

yeah our rods are forged, but they're small. I know theres a company that sleeves 4 cyl. blocks for about $1200 total, including sleeves. You just have to ship them your block

I want to do mine eventually...I also suggest, if you have the money, you get your block sleeved.
Thanks ill take that into consideration!

1200 for the job including sleeves is not bad at all. Its a pretty good price. Besides taking under consideration that the darton sleeves would fit our block i guess the block will be able to handle between 12 and 17 psi with no problem or perhaps more. BTW does anyone knows where can i buy a 4b11 short block with paper our documentation of ownership???

BTW guys here is another turboed lancer from PR tunned by Ruben of Dyno Center to 380whp 379TQ at a peak of 24psi settle in at 21psi with the only mods made to the engine are stock evo x pistons and rods. Still with the lancer crankshaft .

The internals are not only from a evo x the upper block is also evo x the problem with this is the rods the evo x ones are way to long

Thats odd they havent mention that the upper deck is from a evo x. Ruben and other guys have mention that it only have evo x rods, pistons, manifold and turbo set up. Crankshaft and everything else remains from the lancer with the exeption of the bolt ons that are obviously from evo x. Im sure they must have evo x injectors and fuel rail as well. What is not clear for me is what clutch they are using? an evo x or lancer ACT?? since the lancer one is good for 333 lb/tq or something near it. And he is making way too much torque for that clutch to handle.

Dont be silly my friend think about it,the evo x pistons can fit the n/a engine because both are 86mm but the rod of a evo x is way longer for me its just bluffing to say they are using a stock n/a engine with evo x internals I dont buy that speech, back to topic Im selling evo x fuel rail oem if you are interested let me know and for those who are interested on making, they're lancers turbo go for it its fun specially if you fo it yourself! The rest will be to ongoing battle between who has the most whp for me the most important part of a proyect is to gain a lot of power with less work and psi of boost , in that way you can tell if your car was tunned by a real tunner. Then youll be satisfaied .
