I was thinking that way too - and now there is just so much negetive stuff towards it right now. If RIPP could get on these forums and defend themselves they could still have a chance with me - but they dont do anything for themselves by avoiding questions and acting like dicks when asked questions.
The supercharger isn't a bad thing at all. It's really all about what you are after and how you want to go about it. There's just a lot of different things to get in mind. I have to admit though I am pretty disappointed in the responses from RIPP, and thus it makes me shy from it somewhat as well... but in all, a super isn't a bad thing... so don't think it's a bad technology, it's just better for some applications than others.
Ya agree with you steve, I bet RIPP would be getting a lot more responsed and customers if they just took the itme ot talk to people and stop being dick's with their responses.
If you look at the poll for this thread, it seems like ripp would have a lot of buyers anyways. For every 2 people who want a turbo, there will be one person who will want a supercharger. I think if ripp could participate on these forums a lot more, they would get a lot more positive feedback to what thier customers want.

Either way I saw the Supercharger in person on a few cars (None of them a Lancer) but damn it is beautiful. It sounds amazing and I think it's awesome theres always another option besides turbo. Granted I love turbocharging but also like supercharging. Both are awesome in my book
What's amazing to me is that RRM has 3 people working there, including the owner. The owner, ROCK, is a part timer. The other two Gabe and Andrew answer the phones and deal with making parts. They bust *** everyday to supply us with stuff and we get it pretty damn quick. They even have time for R&D while still assisting 100's of us everyday. If a small operation like that can fuel all of us then i think RIPP can as well they just don't seem to care.
I'm not flaming RIPP or ******* their product here as they have a good rep and nice product. I just think in the customer service department they suck and it shows... Especially here on the site.
Mitsuman, for RPW/RMR (can't remember which, sorry) and ROCK are constantly on here and answering all kinds of emails, pms, and forum ??'s. Especially forum ??'s!!
Mitsuman never failed to answer my ??'s no matter how attacking they seemed. He never flamed on me. He never told others he wasn't going to answer ?? that were too anti-his product! He's a stand up guy and so is his products!
RIPP knocks their product down everyday by his own actions.

Yeah but as they say... "actions speak louder than words."
Just doesn't seem fair that he doesn't put forth the effort. What if i wasn't an RRM guy or product owner? What if i was just a smart guy who checked out a product fully before investing? Would i get the same flame/attitude back? Maybe he just hates me and all i stand for but that would suck as well as i help out a lot of people on the boards. Hell i've helped alot do custom stuff for turbo's and even
NOS. I'm not a hatter of speed just don't like being taken advantage of or mislead. When my friends(all evom members + modders everywhere) don't get the info they need i like to make sure they get it. If i don't have it then i ask for it. RIPP doesn't respond to me nor most others. This is offensive to us all as both future customers and community members. That's what really upsets me.
RIPPS product will make you fast, no doubt, but if someone buys it and isn't happy as they think a different way would have been better then maybe that money was wasted due to lack of knowledge in the product or misrepresentation of the product. Either way it sucks to put 4G's into something and not feel satisfied 100%. I want to avoid that for everyone at all costs. I know i can't do it for everyone but if even one is saved then that's better than non.
I've put about 12G's into my ride and i'm still not done but that is because i'm one that is never satisfied. Never will be either. Some people want basic but want the best... well for a difference of a few hundred bucks maybe there is better. If there is they need to know. If there isn't they need to know. I know i'd like to have known if there was better out there when i bought. I got lucky with my relationship to RRM. Now it's my turn to give back to the community that introduced them to me by assisting them in finding the best for their $!
