Does the stock evo 8 BOV + Intake pipe work for our setup?

Hey guys, I'm boosting my lancer, I've been buying parts + doing a lot of research. Something I ran into though, is if I must use an evo 9 BOV for the recirculation, or will an evo 8 bov work just as well?

That plastic POS is epic fail don't even waste your breath looking at them. They leak from 1 psi on.

i have been running n 8 from day one. for our cars with the"little" boost we do run it will work fine. yes a 9 or even an aftermarket one is a good choice but to each their own.

ya my rex should be at 15 but its due to the clutch thats holding me back right now since it cant hold more than 5. that and the factory wastegate on the turbo is natoroius for boost creep and not big enuf to push the gasses thru so im already lokking into a bigger turbo.

the factory wastegate for a rex is set to 10, but with some tuning and a little work ive seen them on stock upwards of 20. and i forgot to mention as well that im going with a tial external like the one thats on my lancer but with a 15psi spring in it.
