Post Rrm Bov

This is a question for all you RoadRace Turbo guys out there.. i was wondering since the BOV recirculates the air instead of sending it out, I was wondering if you could still hear the "psh" sound made the the air?

all you need is an open element air filter.

"yes you can hear it, especially if you upgrade to the type-S" I thought you can choose between the BOV's when you buy the RRM kit.. so they charge extra for the type s? and tenkawa akito can you be more specific? thanks

you can choose to recirculate or not.. its just a matter of piping.. if u dont want to close the recirc. with a cap.. but you gotta make sure its a screw cap or your going to lose pressure.

JVlancer i was talking specifically about the RRM kit.. since i plan to pick one up in the future.. i mean i thought you got to choose the BOV but you gotta pay extra for the Greddy type-s.. that kinda sucks does anyone have a audio clip of what the RRM kit sounds like?

what your saying but you dont HAVE to recirc..i would think that you wold only have to recirc if you had stand alone.. at any rate.. correct me if im wrong please and for the BOV i think Rock stated that you can choose the BOV that you want but you just have to pay the difference... get XS RFL BOV!!!! They sound so sweet

Since the air is already metered, when you let off the throttle you're going to have a LOT of fuel and not much air in the mix. You may stutter or stall as a result. You don't need to go standalone to make up for it as far as I know though. I'm pretty sure you can do it with E-Manage and you may even be able to with an S-AFC. I'm not totally certain though.

the only way that I found out personally, not to stall with s-afc is i have to downshift... all the way to first gear to around 1.5-2k rpm.. and i wont stall.. anything over 3k.. my car will just stall
