what do i need to get so i dont have to use the recirculating hose? the evo map and ecu? since it recirculates does that suppress the sound the bov makes?

haha, well, if you want the loud WOOOSH, you can run speed density which uses a map sensor to detect intake pressure, but you're going to have some drivability issues I think. If you use an air filter like a cone filter, even though it recirculates you can still hear the whoosh. Get a forge or a stock one, I hear good things about both.

if you had an evo for racing.....yes speed density would be a good idea. on our cars even turbo speed density is A LOT of work, and also not to mention paying someone or tuning yourself for countless hours...

if sound is what your looking for just go with a hard inlet pipe on the turbo. the bov with recirc will be louder that way.

and also dont just think that an evo map and ecu will make it sound better. the evo map (ecu's between the evo and our lancer has the same processor and memory) is just bigger and better accomodates boost.

bro the bov i have which is the stock evo 9 is loud enough. I wanted to do the same thing but everyone convinced me its a waste of time "unless you plan on racing like Demon here" But like we all say do what makes you happy

alright well i'll just go with the recirculating idea. no need to make things unnecessarily complicated and expensive.
