Plz Help Asap
okay.. so i've gotten up to section 8 of the RRM turbo install.. but i'm lost on which hose goes to where for the FMU... i got one long black hose... and a 4 way vacuum tie thing.. i know that the top of the FMU connect to the tie.. the BOV nipple connect to it.. and what else?? + what do the bottom two hose barbs of the FMU connect to?? last thing... when i took out the airbox.. there was a hose that connected to it that was coming out of the head.. where do i put that house now? any help would be great... i know i should call RRM but its already 630 PM and yeah.. i dont thing they're still there.. so plz help out a newbie
I don't have it, but I'm pretty sure the hose from the valve cover to the intake gets elimnated and you put a small filter right off the valve cover. If you look on RRM's website at Kontras car (white and blue one) you'll see what I mean. For the four way T, I think (don't quote me) the 2 unused ends tap the existing vaccum line.
The Vacuum diagram with the kit should show you but the tee goes to the stock fuel regulator, the intake manifold where stock regulator was connected and then to the FMU and the BOV. As for the hose...FKRZO is correct about it. You'll need a breather filter for it. They are at PEP Boys, Autozones, Kragens, etc... for around 10bucks or less. You can choose a chromed covered one or the open filter look. Sounds like your install is going well. The diagram is really good suprised you couldn't see where the hoses go? Good luck and let us know if there are further probs with a pm/call. ROCK and myself are on the boards a lot so a pm is quick way to get answers.
the hose that comes off the original intake that leads into the intake manifold someplace IS eliminated, you will hear a little putting sound, it goes on and off, just dont worry about it

Okay.. last couple of questions... i know where the hoses and stuff go.. but do i have to cut the one provided to me by RRM?? and what goes on the other end of the wastegate?? does it just remain open with that connected pipe thing to it?
Trending Topics
The barb on the cap of wastegate just remains open and pointing down. You will need to use the hose provided in order to connect the other barb on wastegate to the turbo as illustrated in the instructions. Yes that hose is meant to be cut to suit your needs. That same hose is also uset to connect your BOV to the manifold/tee. Thus you must not cut off too much to make your connections. Hope to see pics soon and hear of happy boosting!

hahaha.. thanks a lot boe... i got it done yesterday... and took it out for a test drive.. i was the one who called like 5 times about the black harness connector and the dump tubes... just to make sure... hahah well everything is running perfectly.. although i lost a quarter tank driving it like 2 miles.. the hose that ran from the FMU to the fuel regulator had a hole.. so i'm just gonna go buy another one of those lifeline hoses... and maybe some of those metal clamps.. hahah thanks again.. and man i cant wait til i push it... still a little scared to floor it..
