Ebay turbo manifold
Ebay turbo manifold
I remember reading a thread, and I think that you, Demon, mentioned that the SPA manifold wouldn't work because it is clocked 20 degrees out from the engine. Is this because it will move it too close to the rad?
I'm referring to this manifold: http://www.designengineering.com/fil...spa/090341.pdf
I know the wastegate will be on the wrong side, but I don't think it would take much work to run a pipe off of it (over or under) to your down pipe.
I like the idea of a cast manifold over a tubular one for strength. I already have a T3 Turbo, and don't want to use a 16g style (RRM etc. or Speedcorps).
There was picture I saw a long time ago of a mirage running this setup, I think, but I can't seem to find it?
Any thoughts on compatibility?

it will apply to this manifold also more then likely. just get one built for your application from a local fabricator with tons of experience so u dont have any issues
without a/c and powersteering.. u wont shouldnt have any clearance issues.. i wouldnt mind a spa manifold, they make nice cast pieces.. but a tubular manifold can go much further power wise and fitment wise if u have one built.

Thanks.
So the SPA is a no go for clearance with the rad, due to 20 degrees of angle?
Problem, I can't find any one competent to build one. Still looking... maybe I'll have to look farther.
Anyone know of somebody in London, Ontario, area that could do this? I'm not willing to drive my car to Toronto and leave it there for 3 weeks to have this built.
