Still going. Just working on MAF scaling with a side order of brakes. Wilwoods in the front and working on a rear disk conversion.

Wow... looks like I'm not the only one with issues!
My valve seals are leaking oil, need to fix this before finishing installing my 16g setup.
I'll run a compression test this week and hope I won't find anything else when I open the head.

Ryan are you serious!!! I feel bad now Zulu assured me that motor was good but unpaid 1300 for it I was wondering why when I skimmed through your thread your build was different.

Wow guys I'm impressed if y'all need help with something I can still give some knowledge from my previous turbo experience.

Demon just blow the motor already and go 4g64 not 63 that would be a better platform, it would be awesome if you can convert it to awd lol

I've been boosted for a little over a week now...fixed a few fuel leaks (stock injector o-rings were garbage, had to get new ones for the 440's), a just noticed today my oil feed is leaking a bit at the turbo, so i'll put some sealant on the threads and try again...

lol.. awd is a waste of money and time with minimal gains and tons of hickups and problems. id rather go buy a vette or just sell it all together..

I actually think i have a oil pump issue now.. ill be checking my pressures in the next few days depending on what i do. might need a new oil pump. or i need to pull the head and have it rebuilt.

BUT:
4g64/63 (so 2.4 w evo head) 12.5:1compression on e85 all motor sounds good to me.. and streetable. without major tranny issues on fwd. 9k rev. +250hp easy.. ya.. totally different car... still on factory ecu and wiring harness to.. LOL

Ive got about another 1k to spend on the honda.. and 2 or 3 days of labor (tranny rebuild plus a few other things) and im done with it... for now. and ill be back full force on the lancer.. i need to check my oil pump. make sure its operating properly.. might be the key to my issues.

i needed a new street toy, and something to play with at the autocrosses (if i go) and something to daily to and from work that gets good gas milage. honda has answered all of that except autocross part so far. (just needs tranny fixxed and an lsd. and its golden)

Yup took it all apart and pulled the pistons and crank. Pistons all chipped from poor tolerances on the sides (not knock damage). Piece finally came off into the combustion chamber and smacked around taking out new head with it. There was also a shop towel stuck in one of the drains about halfway in. Didn't see it till took a pressure washer to the block and had it slide down enough to see. Rods look ok but block needs machine job. New pistons obviously and the crank needs to be checked as it had some score marks on one bearing. Its fixable just not what expected when bought from you.....(not blaming you in anyway....) Thankfully 03lances has been amazing he took it on himself to let me have the car towed to him and he put my stock setup back in on his own so I could have a car again. English Racing is going to rebuild the motor when my funds improve (tax time & renters moving out = poor me lol) so I'm sure ill be back up there. Right now car is running 14lbs on SD. Who knows perhaps by then i can justify a LSD at the same time since tranny is gonna have to come off at least one more time.

14psi and no LSD? i hope it's laggy cause i'm running 7psi on a quick spooling 14b and i can't go WOT in first gear without burning rubber. I even get wheel spin through second if i'm just flooring the pedal. At least both tires are spinning...

My car is still running strong. My wierd idle after warmup still haunts me for some reason but other than that nothing major (knocks on wood ). 15 psi all day long, I really need lsd but not going to happen any time soon for me. Keep right up with my buddy freshly swapped rb25det 240 running 10psi. Not bad if you ask me.
