Ebay Turbo Kit?

Hello everyone!

So I was browsing the internet, and came across this. I know putting together your own kit is the way to go, but being tight on time and money, this seems to have the correct manifold?

I know there was an issue clearing the slave cylinder on vehicles that have it mounted externally.

If anyone has any input its much appreciated! I know this isn't a complete kit, ill need quite a few more parts to get it running smoothly.

Im looking for constructive ideas about this.

Thanks!
-Steve

That manifold won't mount up, it is made for 4G63 engines, you would have to get a 4G94 flange and have it welded after cutting off the old one.

Thanks man, I guess that throws out my idea. I was mostly looking at the headers.

Something like this?

I don't understand why these posts come up. The I want to turbo how do I go about it. Countless build threads, (none of them using ebay), a whole guide, and references.

Can't recognize that the ebay manifold won't work? Tight on money but you're looking at that crazy expensive rrm manifold?

Just a quick question, if you don’t have the time / money why are you doing this?

Yeah, beautifulpunk will help you.

the rrm header is for a dsm style turbo. if you run the evo style turbo, the M.E. header is what you need cause it clears the slave cylinder.

Man sorry guys. This is just a project car and I wanted to mess around with turbocharging a vehicle.

Yes, I dont have thousands to blow on playing around with this car. Am I looking for basic components to install and see how they work? Yes.

I guess just remove this thread then.

Ill post results when I get everything together.

no need for all that i can see where you are coming from... it doesnt take that much to build a kit for the car.. alot of people build their kit for $1500-$2500 depending on what all they do

Thanks beautifulpunk,

Ill shoot you a PM on getting that header. That seems to be one of the major components in getting everything to fit right.
