Evox ecu for turbo setup

Ok so im peicing my turbo kit together for my gts using ra and evo parts if i use the evox ecu do i have to do anything special beside plug and play because i couldnt get to the dealership because the closest one is 250 miles from where i live. Whats my best bet at going at this. I cant do my own flashing/tuning i will have to go to a place that tunes around here

Dont waste your time with an ECU swap...you have two options...just use your stock rom and swap the map sensor out for a 3bar and flash an X rom...then tune from there...or use AEM FIC8 and tune from there. If you use the X rom, youll have to have the dealership do some programming.

anything that has to deal with the dealership i dont want to do. the stock RA kit is what im fully going with im just not sure about the whole connecting wires to the ecu harness but if they are color coded shouldnt be hard lol. so what all should i do i ended up buying my own laptop and im getting the techtonix cable and everything so i can hopefully have someone send me an email tune for my gts for the RA kit

Dont mess with swapping the ecu. Just flash the x rom to your ecu. No email tunes for you either..it needs to be on a dyno getting tuned. The only thing u need from an ra is the turbo, manifold, o2, and downpipe. Your fmic should be off an X and the rest will be mostly aftermarket. Get hard pipes for your uicp, better intake. Your exhaust will be custom.

I feel like you are underestimating the complexity of this. Go to 9glancers.com. there is more forced induction info there

You def can't just plug and play here. It simply won't work. Best bet is to just get a tune for it like RoLLy said.

ya ive been doing a ton of research. im getting a dyno tune from someone in my town that i never knew existed until i asked around haha. so im just piecing it all together than putting it on myself than taking it there to have it dyno tuned. Also one thing if i pretty much went off a RA setup should i just use the RA rom or is the evox and RA the same?

RA rom will **** a brick. RAs have TC-SST. You need an Evo X GSR rom. Dont forget to change your MAP sensor if you are going to flash the X rom. Also if you have to pass inspections then you are gonna need to go another route because your check engine light will be on.
