ive been looking all over the forums for a good turbo to get for my 2006 lancer ES but cant find anything specific at all... can someone give me a link or something to a good turbo that is also kinda cheap, or a list of all the parts id need?

i want to end up racing this car but obviously a turbo would be a great thing to have to race, so i need something trustworthy, cheap, and something id be able to do moderately easily myself

also if i need to get the evo8 turbo or anything like that please tell me what all id have to change to get it running smothly. and any advice while putting in a turbo would be helpful ive never done it before, i have read the forums about installing them and stuff but any exp. advice still helps tonss..

lol, thats what i tried first, you pretty much just find a bunch of wiki how to install turbos or just turbo kits on ebay but most of it you cant really be sure its gonna fit without going and getting a bunch of adapters and mods so it works right :/

i found more helpful info on here plus i figured who better to ask then the people with the lancers that do these mods to add turbos, i figure they will definitely be the people that know what to get or what would work as a direct bolt on- or close to it

yeah from what ive heard ill have to get new pistons if i run over 6 psi and need new rods and possibly a crankshaft

and i looked and found a few kits, just dont know if its "worth it" you know

those are the kits i found, that i think would work, but i dont really know anything about turbos, practically a noob at modding cars, ive done a lot of research about a lot but that doesnt give me the knowledge to know 100% :/

 

how did you turbo yours? and does the 02 oz have the 4g93? cause i think they were 2.4l by then werent they? ..i could easily be wrong though..
