Dynoed my auto intercooled lancer v2.0

But the tech ran it in D instead of 3 so this pull is in 4th gear, aka overdrive at a .712 gear ratio.

The result is 138.1 whp. Translate that to 3rd gear which is 1:1 and you get 193.96 whp I am going back in a few days with exhaust and boost controller to turn me up past 5 psi.

here is the link

Lets hope this doesnt turn into another flame fest.

This is for questions and comments about this car not any others.

Thank you.

mine is the same dimensions as the PWR evo intercooler.

it is larger than the RRM one but much larger than needed.

enormous amount of difference. Yes I had to notch the support bar so I would recommend either living without the bar, or go with a smaller intercooler, like the rrm one.

The front R-bar is there to protect in case of a frontal accident. W/o one, the motor will directly take the brunt in a collision.

oh ok so i dont want to get rid of that. i just want to find an IC cheaper than the RRM that will fit. in the last thread you said you wre getting 13 hp per psi with the IC.

hey guru i did my math wrong yesterday if a lancer auto stock puts out 100whp and you think you are putting out 193.96 at 5psi that means you are getting 18.792 horsepower per psi i got that number be dividing 93.96 by 5 because you are running 5psi.can i say bull**** you are probably putting out about 160 170 to the wheels.sorry to rain on your parade

well all i know is what i see. I spoke with Rob at RRM yesterday and addressed the same issue. He said though that seems high he feels it is close to accurate. I will verify on another dyno for you guys as perhaps that dyno was off a touch.
