Im wondering if a 2G turbo header would fit on the 4G94. Im still kinda fuzzy on the turbo topic but my friend said he would be replacing his T-25 turbo and a bunch of other stuff on is Eclipse. He told me to do some research and see if a "2G head would fit on your car". His exact words. So im guessing its the 2G Eclipse turbo header? Not too sure...

I don't know much about the 2G engines, specifically, but they are 4G63 engines, whereas the Lancer OZ is a 4G94. The third alphanumeric digit decides the family of engines and so the two engines have pretty much nothing in common as they are completely different. It would be an awfully strange coincidence if boltons just happened to line up.

All im looking for is a perfect fit from the engine block to the exhaust manifold. I saw a few pictures of the 2G header and compared it to the Lancer header, they look pretty much the same. Might be a small difference that would make this impossible.

Who would I seek help with if I wanted to make a custom turbo header?

the 2g's turbo manifold is too big for the 4g94....been there done that...........although recent studies are being conducted on weather or not the 2g's 420a manifold is the same or not....if so the 420a is a cheaper way to turbo a 4g94....im working on this as we speak

 

no....the only other header that fits is from any 4G93 series head.
