Pressure code is not normal... better get that checked out and corrected. I've been boosting for a long time and never have had that code. Hell i'm boosting 11psi now and have no codes whatsoever!! That sounds like a serious issue. Get RIPP to check it out.

NO RRM TURBO kit has ever had that code! Don't believe it is normal!

So how hard was the install... how long did it take? Did you need to modify anything or was all the fitment perfect? The only pic that worked was the last one. Looks like it's all snug and good. How much was the kit you have at 6psi? Any idea about hp/tq for that kit.

Install wasn't hard at all. Time consuming, but not hard. For modifications, I had to bend the power steering line slightly (belt clearance), I put the battery in the trunk (there designing piping to leave battery alone as we speak) and with the RRM header I had to cut off the upper heat shield mounts and grind the welds smooth with a Dremmel (for the sds clamp). Also when you change the exaust studs to the longer ones, I had to cut about 1/4" off the lower left one for the clearance of the first primary pipe. They informed me off this when I picked it up so there were no surprizes. It went together very well. The only reason I got a 6 pound kit is because I started paying for it when BlazenOZ first got his car back in Oct. I did get a good price, and I will have payed less than even the GB price with the water injection and the 10 pound pulley. I'm going to guess that I have about 175-180 at the wheels. I haven't raced anybody yet, but my car pulls harder than my freinds hatch civic with a gsr swap and he pulled a 14.6 @ 92mph. Boost starts at like 2200 rpm and you can feel a big difference buy 3500. Past 3500 it just pulls harder and harder all the way to redline. I'm very happy. Total of about 15 hrs. Removing the oil pan was a bi*ch. Finding pin # 76 (O2) was hard because there were 3 white wires right next to each other. What I did was go to pin 81 (grey 5v) and count back 5. Everything else went very smooth.

what do you mean by changing exhaust studs, as in the ones in the head? So did you need a stud puller kit or did it come with the RIPP kit??

Also most tracks out here wont let you run with a battery in the trunk, which is why i went to the small race battery for my kit. How serious is the bend in the power steering, just a slight push or you have to be careful to not crimp the lines?

Either way man sounds good and i wish you luck. Oh yeah, 15 hours for install? damn that is timely, but i guess worth it. my kit took 8 hours but i had advice from Boe (he is almost my neighbor).

The exhaust studs have to be changed to hold the 1/2" thick aluminum sds clamp. There is no need for any puller, I took them out with a pair of chanellocks with very minamal effort. Power steering line needs a very small push, just crack the bolt loose and bend it about 3/8" with a small pry bar. As for the battery in the trunk, I put it in a box. Thats NHRA rules, a sealed box. 15 hrs. includes battery, oil pan and lines, changing and wiring the 310 injectors, wiring in the black box and MAP sensor, fuel pump, pressure regulator and everything else. I also went over everything twice and tested everthing too.

that's the only true way to be sure... check it once then twice... to worriers like me it gets checked about 10 times.

The site says they use 6 injectors... do you put in replacing the stock ones and 2??? Is there some sort of additional injector setup?

No problemo... i was just wondering if it did or not. Are you going to upgrade past 310's to go higher boost? 310's seems like they'd peak at about 11psi?

I talked to. I believe his name was, Cody from RIPP today and one of the guys' Lancer with an SDS is supposed to be getting dyno'd soon; possibly within the month. Is this one of you guys? He said he was working on a battery relocation to accomodate the Vortech supercharger.

Cody is a cool guy and he knows his **** as do all the guys at ripp. And i know whos car is gettin dynoed soon, But i will let him tell you who he is.

All i can say is the next grand i get is being saved for Ripps sds. Because after having many conversations with ross and cody, as well as hearing that monster vortech, Ripp is def the way to go (for me) Plus they are right over the bridge!!!!
