New Edition to the RIPP SDS Lancer Family

A fellow evolutionm.net member has recently purchased it and installed it himself. Below are pictures of the kit installed.

Ross I can't see my pic's. Anyway, I just got home and the car is running and driving great. The power comes on very smooth without any spikes, and drives like stock in traffic. At the least, I can say I'm very satisfied. I went to ripp today, and we hooked up the scan tool. Only code was manifold pressure, and thats what boost is. I am going to go to the track as soon as I can. Right now I'm on a street tire and am at 6 psi. I'll be upgrading to 10 as soon as I can get my water/methanol injection.

I haven't heard of turbo'd Lancers throwing manifold pressure code. How does this differ?

i still don't understand why your kit has that cut and welded 90 degree bend right before the throttle body. you would get so much better flow with a mandrel bent 90 degree pipe instead of that square cut. its like the air is hitting a wall.

unless you need that flat piece to mount and injector assembly or something.

The 90 is setup for the water injection injector. The back side is really a 45 and there's no room for a mandrel 90 to fit there. I think a pressure code is completely normal when your pressurizing the manifold.

I've been told that you should have NO code for pressurizing the manifold.

TURBO guys:

Can you attest to this?
