Trust me though... stick with the boost the kit offers and be happy as beyond that you are messing with dangerious territories.

On race gas i'd say you could do 11 no problem. After that you'd be pushing it. Good luck.

if i got pistons you could put em in for me, without charging me labor? you would have to be awake to consider it work right? you can do them in your sleep. i can afford the small stuff right now. like pistons and rods. seriously, my brother has been being a pain in the *** lately, so could i have a friend (boe) change up my pistons if i got em?

I charge 450 for the piston install... i think that will be the best price you'd find anywhere other than doing it yourself.

I might consider it if your serious. You can pm me if you'd like. As for this post i'm gonna get it back on topic and stop talking about labor/install stuff for my gain.

WOW I jus read ALL 9 pages....

Okay, heres some questions and comments...

1. If I ran Stage 2 RRM Turbo at 9psi, I could red line and jus drive aggresively and i wont have to **** myself worrying that im gonna blow my engine correct?
2. So its $4099.00 for stage 1 and its $1199 for stage 2 ??
3. how much HP will stage 2 give me exactly, jus so i know, something to motivate me to SAVE SAVE SAVE

ok, i believe thats all im wondering, everything else was more or less covered

I sometimes redline in 2nd n 3rd gear... and nothing has happened to me, also redlining in 4th and 5th gear is stupid... cuz you build wya too much heat and even at safe boosts you can blow your engine... and the pricing is correct for stage1 and stage 2... also for stage 2 numbers it varries, but with a auto lancer we put down 230 to the wheels... so roughly about 240ish for manual or more.

Viciouz basically answered this but i'll add this...

1) you should not redline a car... especially in boost. The lancer is not a factory boosted car so upon redline it cuts fuel where most factory boosted cars will cut spark and retard timing. Basically when you redline the lancer... even NA... you are cutting the fuel but there is still spark. This could lead you into a detonating condition. Basically i say don't do it. Boosted cars are the same as NA in that matter for the lancer. The pistons can only take so much before they will break from the detonation of the Redline hit. I know it's hard in 1st/2nd not to redline... hell i did it a lot and never had any problems. I'm just looking out for you by telling you it can be dangerious on any car.

2) Price is right...

3) There have been a few to dyno and post about it. With a lot of supporting mods like intake manifold/header/testpipe/tb... etc... i was able to put down about 240whp at 9psi. The torque is unreal... i watched a manuel stage 2 put down 250ft/lbs at 9psi ... the difference was he had the turbo cam from RPW as well as the other mods i had. He said the dyno showed it nice and fat for AFR. Great job though...

In June when i come down to RRM, i will lay 5,000 in $1 on the front desk and say make the Phantom fast. i was thinking would you guys do the install of the turbo. no really i can pay in 100, thought ones would be a cool idea. probably be sex money cuz you know i gotta do the girl in the bennies first.

maybe we can work out a deal like $5500 installed for pistons, rods and IC turbo for my automatic. I might be able to do 6 but thats pushing it. i'll wear a decal to cover the other $500.
