106 degree day... full pull in 3rd to redline... 11psi on 91 pump gas... and to top it off she bounced on the rev limiter. Need i say more? Stage2 was designed for 9psi and i was pushing it past that... living on the edge was my thing and that day it caught up with me.

I will say bouncing on the rev limiter in any boosted/NA/nitrious car is bad for it. Though you may get away with it for a long time it is detromental in many ways. Especially if you car was never designed for boost... the ecu doesn't pull timing/cut spark instead it does nothing with timing and cuts fuel. That means there is still spark without enough fuel which leads to detonation. In the end she cried... i kicked her... she cried some more... i kicked her again... then she got knocked out so i had to appologise and move on. Wierd how it worked out that way.

I know i ran just rrm and made great power and was super reliable.

Stick at 9psi and you'll be fine... after that you are riding the edge and i don't recommend it. I didn't mind blowing the motor to much as i've done it so much before i can change pistons in my sleep.

Trust me though... stick with the boost the kit offers and be happy as beyond that you are messing with dangerious territories.

On race gas i'd say you could do 11 no problem. After that you'd be pushing it. Good luck.
