If you buy an expensive external pump you can achieve 100+ psi levels. Then you would find a 1:1 regulator more feasible. Hope this helps you pgmike... seems lately i'm taking a lot of heat for trying to guide people in safe and good directions.
thats the answer ive been looking for for a long time, thanks boe

My GF works for a salon and doesn't make that much. I work 50+ hours a week just to keep my head up and i still continue to find these threads. How do you guys get money like this? i try saving but something always happens, a friend in need and flat tire, etc. i save and save and spend and spend. i will never buy a fake turbo kit like off prostreetonline. or turbo kits.com i look for the best deal i do everytime. Even when we got our x-mas bonus of $2000 the GOVT taxed my bonus! I am not asking for anything for free, i am not looking for sympathy, i am asking about how can i get a turbo for the phantom, without having to saw my arm off. i am buying an evo interior from a guy who totaled his. he sold it for $275.good deal i think. oh and i know yur thinking YOU have an auto?!?! well yup i do, i have a slipped knee cap and it keeps me from driving a stick for long distances. so naturally i bought an auto. in fact the front of the car was destroyed by a jackass drunk driver! it was hand fixed b y me and my brother. you could only tell because the radiator support is slightly bent. big deal the engine sits cockeyed, and makes for a good ride. so i am sitting here whining about how life has kicked my ***. I am whinin in a turbo thread afterall. well i got to thinking, since i will never have $4200 for an IC turbo kit i am making RRM and offer and everyone should read this.

I am willing to cut off my small finger on my left hand if RRM will IC turbo the Phantom.

you probably think i am joking. I can't save that kind of money. shlt happens. i am not gonna sell my sperm. i can't join the army because i have a slip knee cap i can't pass the physical. i have tried 3 times. i refuse to get a credit card just for a turbo, what if something happens and i need to fix it, where will that money come from another credit card? never ending cycle. I offered my finger. i don't think you would want to keep it. just thought maybe you would have found it flattering. i am serious though. what can i do short of saving, to get an auto turbo? i am not a thief so don't suggest stealing one.

what would the value be? i mean of the repo, god forbid it should happen? what 30%? i mean you could sell the used one to someone else. In any case how do i get started? is there a way would could work out the Phantom being turboed, and the money issue, like a finace deal? other than lay-away? i would like to turbo the car before summer, i have an important track meeet against a hand made model T hot rod a friend built. i need at least 250 whp to compete. i have some money, and just rented my spare bedroom like 5 minutes ago, to absorb cost. wouldn't cutting my finger off be a joy for all of you too see? it could be sewed back on if it was cut into ice. or i can 50% the cost with you for sponsorship. it is the Phantom afterall, all i want is the turbo i can buy everything else. if you want to supply the turbo kit and i spring for the IC, ported TB, and IM w/headers. would that work? I can tell you how everyone at myjob calls my car the Prancer, and that it is just a Lancer. I would like to have the evo experience without buying an evo, i can't drive the thing due to med probs. I have full insurance the best you can get. I wiwll sign papers and whatever you need. Revolution! I am not asking for anything for free. i am asking for a split. gimmie a good down price and we can get te ball rolling. I pay up 2k in march. you send the turbo kit. i mean that is half! i pay half then pay the other half off in trickles buy buying the other parts at 30% increas in price. that makes you your money and i sport RRM parts in the phantom. of course you could decal the car if you like. I have talked to the SCLC guys and they don't even come to my city. all around it never in it. i see lots of lancers with cans on the *** i think they just don't know! does that sound like a deal? It is an automatic! how many autos you seen killin people on the track? at 30% price increas on the other bolt on you make like, example, TB $286 x.30 = $371. almost 100 extra per piece. sounds good to me. i would have to do the math.

What is there to say? No one is sadistic enough to want to watch you cut your finger off. And no one is going to give you a turbo and hope that you pay for it later.

I'll say the same thing that I say to everyone - you are not special. The same rules apply to you that apply to everyone else. You pay, then you receive the merchandise. Everyone has the hardluck story. That's why not everyone has a turbo kit.

Phantom, if you can't afford it you need to wait until it's your time. It looks like you don't have patience, this will just eat you more in the inside if you keep thinking about it. Just get away from thinking about Turbo and just stay in the sidelines for awhile. Trust me I've been there and once you achieve your goal, you'll be happy I swear, just be patient bro...

Actually, it's better if you wait and buy yourself a car that can go past 300hp... Obviously the lancer can't go pass that.

yur right initial D. I am impatient. I have a goal. i was raised to DWIT.

Splurge, us autos gotta stick together man!

Blacksheep, maybe it is just me, but it appears that Cleveland is full of onry SOB's. like high voltage. maybe you guys like going around and busting chops. If you can't say anything nice say nothing at all. I have had parts on consignment dumbass. it's called good faith. Maybe nobody has ever shown you good graces. The company i work for is small and is multinational, we are all good peple with good intentions. occasionally we let parts go on good faith. so instead of trying to burst my bubble, why don't you worry about selling your pistons.

and i have cut peoples fingers off, it is actually only for the non-squeemish. lots of blood and a really hurt individual.
