hey does anyone have the alpine type x components and sub if so how do they sound, how good are they, hows the bass on the sub and the sound.

any opinions would be appreciated

i got to hear one of the subs at my local tweeter a few weeks back. i was pretty impressed by it. had some pretty good low end extension and sounded very clean. it was running off a JL 500/1 in a ported box tuned to 32hz i believe.

 

Yah I'm curious about this too, my friend has a 15" type R and Alpine 1000 watt amp, and it hits REAL low. I wonder if the type X hits harder. Although the Type X doesn't come in 15"s, and it's 4ohm X 4ohm vs 15 R's 2ohm X 2ohm
