You checked all fuses under the dash AND in the engine bay? if you have and none are blown then somewhere that wire is cut.....find the wire and follow it.

what were you doing when you lost power? that might help us narrow it down.

I was rigging or hardwiring cigarette light 12v plug to aux in wire so I don't have to occupy a cigarette lighter when pwring my Delphi XM receiver. I must have shorted then.

I've checked all fuses except a pair under the hood. In evo, there's a pair of fuses embedded within yellow plastic plug and its PITA to take out. I did'nt know you could take them out. But apparently one of them is for radio pwr.

I'll have to check those out...thanks guys!

That yellow plastic plug IS removable and one of the fuses inside them is your problem. I know that because when I left my car on campus overnight cuz i couldnt drive home I pulled those fuses because that way it's impossible to get the car started without replacing them

When u pull it out 1/2 way there are 2 tab-like things that u should be able to see on the sides. Squeeze them in and pull the yellow thing out the rest of the way.

I don't know if you took off your center arm-rest and shift cover to get to the cig lighter but if you did, there are 2 plugs on the side of the handbrake, make sure those are properly plugged in or your car won't start.
