I just put 6.5" Sony Xplod's specialty series in my back deck. Buy the spacers(ebay for 20.00), or do what I did, get some self tapping screws and screw in the new ones. I put some peel and seal along the deck panel, and everything is all good. If you really want good sound, buy a component set and amp. You'll have to either surface mount(looks bad, but no cutting) or get a hole saw and cut a hole in your back deck. For SQ, I would reccomment JL or Xtant, if you've got the money. The new Sony stuff is really good. Much better than the old red cone stuff. Check out the Xplod website.

If you want 6x9's, nothing a dremel tool can't fit , cut the steel back & the carpet. Drill new holes. Thats what I did for my Infinity's
