Relocated head unit pics, anyone?

I've been thinking of relocating my HU for various reasons to the lower cubby hole, anyone who has done this can you please post a few pics so I can see what it looks like before I decide on doing this? Also, once moved, what goes where the HU used to be?

ill try to post pics when I get home from work today.....although im sure someone else will probably beat me to it.

A lot of people drop the headunit down for installing a dvd headunit and a screen up top where the original headunit used to be. But you can also purchase a blank pocket that will mount right in and serve as a cubby hole, but just higher up. Ill show you what I mean when I post pics.

dam, nice orange interior

you can buy the relocation kit from mitsu

as for filling the holes up top, people put in screens, and one company on here, forget who, makes a hvac/radio trim plate with gauge pods where the radio would go

or you could just get the gauge kit from mitsu and that should fit right in

so there are plenty of things to do with the hole

42 draft designs makes a gauge panel that would fit. They also have the part numbers for the mitsu relocation kit.

Here is a link: http://www.42draftdesigns.com/lancer.htm
