i blew my best friends subs out yesterday i cranked the juice down at the remote sencor on my dash and at the head unit i have power control and at the amp and the koles come in different sizes i happened to buy the biggest and the switch on the side does ajust the power in the amp i have 2 voltage meters and i have never hade one read wrong yet.

 

if you want to stop blowing subs, you need to buy a real amp. looking at the specs of your kole, it is quite frankly a POS. no offense but it has a THD of 0.02 which is horrible & also indicates 880watts (not the 800 you claim) RMS but doesn't tell you if that is 1 ohm stable. judging by the price i assure you it isn't & if you're not wiring your sub(s) to a 1 ohm load you not pushing 880 at all. it is more like 440x2 with a gang of distortion. of course i guess you think 2 months of working at a shop gave you so much knowledge huh?

i didn't intend to bash you but if you are going to ask for help at least have the common sense to have your facts str8. in the electronics world, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!!!!!!!!!

w7's are decent but are to over rated! you can find better subwoofers for the same price or sometimes even less the price just keep searching for what you want

this is some funny ****...bottom line just get the JL you cant go wrong...Ive got a w3 on a 500/1 and a 300/4 on Quart QSDs components...I could easily add a w7 but this is plenty for me at this time and sheds a little extra weight..haha

oh yeah...I love how people brag aboutr my stereo is louder or better than yours because I have a 2000w amp, you knowing its not a true 2000w and not 1ohm stable,and a distortion machine...bottom line, if ya pay less than a $1 a watt for your amp, theres a good chance its a POS...

IMO .This is by far the most bang for your buck that is on the market right now. I have one of these on two Infinity Kappa Perfect 10" in a sealed enclosure and it is quite impressive. I also have one of the raa4200 4 channnels which we are out of right now. We do however have the 2 channel which is 400x2 @ 2 ohms. We bought a huge mass of these amplifiers and that is why we have the prices so low.
