New head unit

Hey everyone have not posted here before....useually hang around evo pre arrival discussions...I wanted to say I just got my new head unit for my soon to come evo....I spent a lot of time looking for one that matched the gauge cluster (Bright Red) I ended up with the Kenwood krc mpv6022 because it also had to have mp3 capability......could someone tell me who has one of these units if it sounds good or if there where any problems with the install? thanks in advance

i think i have that one.. and it's pretty much awesome. check out my registry. the colors that thing can go through are dope! it doesn't skip or anything, but the only thing i'd like more of is sound. it goes up to 39, and 20 is very decent..but it doesn't produce as much bass for subs as an xplod reciever does. other than that, with a stock system this head unit is great

well... you can always get a line booster for that problem. Pump up the voltage on the signal. Or get a better amp :-P

I am not an expert yet on this unit but I think you can adjust the power that goes to the sub ....thats what I have been reading....do you have a separate amp?......also this unit only has 22w RMS
