Very Nice job. Clean Install . How do they sound? I was thinking about getting thoes but I wanted to know if the bass is nice. All these people now a days a looking for the loudest systems but what about clarity and depth? Anyways, let us know how the quality is.

Nice set up man. I just bought a 300/2 and am gonna do the same amp setup as yours, but only 1 1000/1. Are you happy with the amps. Also do they put alot of strain on the power, such as the lights and all.

JL W7's are probably one of the best sub's i have come across. they have everything you want. quality and SPL. their only downfault is that are freakin heavy as hell. still give them a 10.

the 2 small amps are powering the mids and his. it doesnt sound as good as i would like it to because there are some rattles and things to fix. the subs start clipping after i turn the volume up to a certain point...i dont know whats causing this, im guessing lack of power but im not sure. some of the cds i have have some mega bass and sound really good but i cant stand some of the rattles. the break light cover inside the car came loose so i have to tighten it. i still have to dynamat the top of the trunk, and i have to do something about that rear view mirror...damn thing is driving me nuts and i dont want to take it off. but hopefully when its all done it will be good like i want it to be

my actual question was "what speakers" do you have being powered by the other amps. obviously they are for mids and highs if the big one is powering the subs.

do you mean your amplifier is clipping? the only reason that it would be doing this is it is at it's fullest output and there is not enough headroom. turn the volume and or the gain down to solve this.

one thing can be your amps are getting too hot, most amps have a shutoff if they overheat... another could just be, even though you upgraded your alternator, your alternator feeds your battery, your amps draw from the battery, you could just basically be takin more from the battery than the alternator is pumpin back in.. you have to remember that alternators only put out max amps under certain rpms.. so although you have a 200 amp alternator, you might only be puttin 120 or so back into the battery..
I'd suggest gettin a 1 farad cap for at least the 1k amp.. if the subs are drawin too much from the battery that sould cover the overdraw easily
