Custom Trunk Install

Hey everyone, I was just wanting some feedback on my custom install so far. I am doing the installation myself, and I really hope that it turns out as planned. I carpeted the false floor to match the trunk, recessed the amp rack in the spare tire well, and am in the process of making two cover plates for the recessed opening in the floor; one stealth type to completely conceal the electronics, and a logo etched plexiglass one for show (neon installed).

By the way, the two notches up by the seats accomodate the folding seat bracket, and the wiring that goes down under the floor and into the rack (they will be hidden later).

Yes, that is a CPU fan; there is also a vent on the adjacent side to keep the air circulating throughout the rack. The purpose is to keep the electronics from overheating when the cover plate is installed.

Sorry Peels...The fan is hooked to a standard automotive relay, which is triggered by the remote turn on lead for the amp; that way the fan is only on when the amp is running, and the turn on lead is not used as the actual power supply; I did however fuse the turn on lead at the head unit for extra protection.
