Grounding Points

Where are you guys grounding your amps?

I heard the rear shock(or are they struts, I forget) mounts are good points for grounding. I haven't tested this out yet, but I coulda sworn I've heard something contrary to this a few times before. I have the grounds in the corners of the trunk with self-tapping screws. I guess I should break out the ol' DMM and test for myself where the lowest resistance point(s) in our trunks is(are) huh?

The bracket connecting the split folding rear seats to the trunk floor makes an excellent grounding point. I showed very little resistance on these two bolts with my DMM, just make sure you sand the paint off EXTREMELY well!!

I just tapped a screw into the passenger-side trunk area, and of course scraped all the paint off until it was shiney.

Ya, the trunk area seems to be fine. The metal area near the back seat if you lift up the carpet.

I also used the bolts that were oem for the 60/40 seat where they bolt to the chassis.
