Not to hijack...I will do sub box trunk for approx...half the price of a shop + the cost of materials.

Hint to OP: When using fleece ensure it has a high polyester content this allows it to stretch easier and have a lower chance of wrinkles.

MORE UPDATES AND MORE PICTURES!!!

shows how close the trunk is to hinting but clears perfectly!!!

perfect fit in the front.. just need to sand the bottom a bit...

the entire enclosure in the trunk....

the enclosure with all the trim put back to check fitment.. again perfect..

Okay so i learn a few things today... when adding layers to the lining only add two to the back at most and the rest in the front, fitment is tight!! had to sand a few parts here and there... Also totally forgot about makign sure i could close the trunk, but the clearance is perfect almost like i plan it like that... but other then that i'm going to add some fiberglass in places that we feel need it and then use the bondo body fill to smooth everything out and sand!!! i think it looks amazing!! i'm soo shock how it turned out!!!

THANKS

Wow, that looks good. You going to paint it or just throw on some carpet? I vote for paint.

UPDATE:

okay well tonight i sanded part of the enclosure to make a better fit in the front.. I also added more layers of glass to it. This shoudl be the last of he glass and tommorrow i will check the box out check for any leaks and then drill the small hole and put the speaker wire in and seal it up.. After that comes time to do the "body work" to it and make it all pretty and smooth and then primer.. paint wont come until the rest of the trunk is finished. I'm also going to be starting the passenger side either tommorrow or friday!!

THANKS

As far as subs and amps go, we have some visonik subs and amps laying around that we are going to use. There will be an amp rack installed in the back for the one amp and the other will be in the floor with a plexi glass window.. the floor will also have hinges so it will lift up to reveal the spare tire!!

Thanks

UPDATE:

i have added more fiberglass to the enclsoure to make it even stronger. tommorrow i will begin to do the body work and prep the enclsoure for paint. I will then be begining on the passenger side of the car!

Also if anyone else is interested in us making you some custom enclosures or linings please send me a message if you are serious about purchasing! Also if you would like one but cant cause of a rear strut bar no problem, we can create the opening for the strut bar in the enclosure and still make it look beatiful!!!

THANKS

UPDATE

I manage to squeeze the *** end of my car in he garage between the wall and my trans am.. just enough to get it out of the rain and test fit the enclsoure after the lastest bit of glass work (i added a lip to make it match the top of the trunk so it looks molded into the trunk itself...) after this last bit of glass dries i'm starting the body work to it!! I'm really hoping to start it tommorrow where i will then post more new pictures! I really want to paint it but i'm waiting until i get the enire trunk finish before paint so i dont scratch any of it workign on the rest of the trunk!

THANKS
