Yes raw CF is a *****. If you want to learn to work with it make sure you start one flat surfaces. I would be more helpful if possible, but i am really hung over and don't remember last night....more to come.

well i added the body filler.. the first time i just use the filler and hardner, the second time i added resign to the mixure and it made it sooo MUCH easier to apply and sand!! i still have more sanding to do to make it completely smooth.

i added more to fill in the low spots and i'm just waiting for it to dry. i will post more pictures later!!

THANKS

UPDATE

today i will be spraying the primer on the driver side. Tommorrow i'm going to officialy start fiberglassing the passenger side (I would today but its my friend's birthday). I will take more pictures and post tommorrow.

So far i been working on it for almost 3 weeks. But i only spend an hour or two a day when i have spare time working on it. As far as the cost i couldnt really tell you, i got everything from my friend for cheap since he does it for a living, so i cant give u how much it would run a normal perosn not getting a super great friend discount.

THANKS

UPDATE:

Once the primered dried i had to see it in the trunk lol. I still need to wet sand and fill in the low spots that i can now see. Tommorrow i'm going to see if the auto paint store has any of the silver paint in stock cause i wanna paint it this weekend lol..

Also has anyone tried the HOUSE of KOLORS paint that walmart is now selling? Its about 10 dollars for a small can, but they sell it in stages, base, color, and clear... My walmart has pearl and standard colors...

THANKS

HOUSE of KOLORS rocks the best paint out there IMO. My friend had his 73 El camino in House of Kolors paint came out way better then we thought it was going to be.
