Component Speakers
i'm going to go for mb quarts, i've heard them at car toys and loved it, the sound is really crisp and clean. they're pretty cheap on ebay, around $120+ shipping just go to search and type in "mb quart".
i have mb quarts, 6 1/2. you just need to be creative with the install. i drilled into the doors to make new holes.
components are better because you can place the tweeter in an optimal location, instead of relying on putting them in the door. seperate components is always the best when dealing with stereo (seperate amp, tuner, receiver, speakers, etc.)

I have the Quart Q series - its worth every penny - I am just running the front ones alone now and the sound is out of this world (I do have a 400 watt Mcintosh amp powering them)
Next week I'll have the Quart premiums working on the back deck with a xtant amp and a 8" solobaric kicker sub - - I cant wait to hear what that sounds like !

Boston makes excellent components. The Pros are very nice, and the Rallies are excellent values. But, both are quite deep (like any good speaker) so you might want to confirm that they fit before you purchase - especially on-line.
I also dig the MB Quartz, but I have had bostons before, and I plan on using them again.
