though i haven't heard them personally, i've heard oz makes quality stuff, however it is usually quite expensive. two 12s for 140 sounds good at first, but it might be better to spend 140 on a better single twelve that can handle more power. it all depends on how you like your music; clean, loud, or both.

i'd keep looking around at single 12s, just to compare. check out www.pricegrabber.com and look for a 12inch infinity perfect, or jl even a nice rockford sub. www.etronics.com is another good place and www.just12volt.com it too.

OZ Audio - Great stuff. SQ Drivers. Some of the cleanest in the biz. Don't expect them to rock the block, but these aren't any paperweight subs either. They'll be plenty loud enough with 500 watts in the right enclosure, and they'll be damned clean about it.

Now I haven't heard this particular model, but I have heard a lot of OZ drivers, they produce very high quality products, and you're getting a hell of a deal. Take the subs and run.

Oh yeah... As with any high quality product, don't be afriad to feed them a little more power, as long as it's clean. But I'm pretty sure those 2 12's with 1000 watts would be more than enough for any non-comp system.

The best box is the one you build yourself. It's not overly difficult, and can be built to your exact specifications.

As for an amp, that really depends on your price range. Personally, on the cheap side, but with a reall good build I'd reccomend the JBL BP600.1 You'd be feeding them a clean 600 watts, which should be enough for your daily driver. If you think you need a little more, the BP1200.1 doesn't cost that much more.

I can't endorse it.

That's not saying it's good or bad, but it is from a company I can't find any information on. I've also never seen one in an install, and I've never heard of anyone using one.

If you've got the means, I'd definately look for something from a mainstream company. There's just something about that amp that screams "Flea Market Special" alongside the Pyramid, Rockwood, Kenford, and Sparkomatic amps.

A few suggestions on amps:
Phoenix Gold
Soundstream
Zapco
US Amps
Memphis
JBL
MTX
Rockford Fosgate (even though I don't like em, they're solid)
