sorry, put it in my wife's car she's happy with it. the sq just wasn't there for me... it was night and day difference switching back to my old eclipse deck. had to readjust the gains on my amps and turn them all down a bit, but that just helped a bit more

me 2.....ive owned 2 of them..sold one with the last car.........easy opperation, and a cool looking remote 2! its heaven for a kid with ADD...soooo many buttons that do soooo many differnt htings......make sure u get one with sub preouts tho.....or if ur not runnign subs you can get one that runs mp3s......i couldnt find one around my town for less than 250 with sub preouts AND mp3 capability......so i jsut got the sub preouts......the preouts are they key to a good headunit because it allows for amplified speakers much easier.....pioneer generally has a sub preout, a front preout and a rear pre out...if ther is no sub preout and you sitll wana use a sub....there isa mode for running it through the rear pre outs...but ive never done it...rummor has it it has a bit more distortion..and you cant amplify your rear speakers....

my advice, get less sub/amp...and get a second amp and big ole 6" round speakers that can handle some bass......it sound alot better in the cab. now if your jsut trying to attract attention by having your spoiler vibrate off....then buy all means...throw 3 15" in the trunk and let it role.....

Kenwood, Sony, I've never heard an aftermarket Nakamichi but they sound great in Lexuses. If you get DVD Kenwood has the touchscreen.

I voted Nak...I have the CD400. Very simple design, orange illumination (switchable to green), nice remote, aux in for my IPOD, and looks stock (sorry, no bling factor).

Probably one of the better sounding headunits IMO.

every Eclipse HU i had worked perfect!! even JVC's lineup is nice...

Panasonic, which i don't see up there, is the worst POS HUs i ever seen(the chrome comes off of them weeks after purchase)... ANY series!! i had a Panasonic 7200 tv and it was the worst money i spent on electronics in my life... i would gladly take Sony over it and Sony makes garbage HUs as well... i have a friend who has the new touch screen 9200 Panasonic tv and it's pretty cool (until the warranty expires and it falls apart the next day)

I am not a big car stereo guy and i never thought i would even go so far as to buy even a head unit. I was perfectly happy with my stock cd head unit.

I was at best buy the other day with my buddy and i saw the JVC KD-LH810. At first i realized how extremely well it matches the lancer interior. Honestly, the thing looks as though it was specifically made for the interior of our cars. I just had to buy it...

After installation, i noticed that not only does its styling and color match the interior perfectly, the lights behind the buttons perfectly match the red guages of the OZ lancer. I dont know why everyone is hating on JVC so bad but I am completely happy with this deck. Its FULLY customizable in everyway i can think possible. And it makes my stock speakers sound better and the radio clearer.

WOW!
