she's happy with it. the sq just wasn't there for me... it was night and day difference switching back to my old eclipse deck. had to readjust the gains on my amps and turn them all down a bit, but that just helped a bit more

whatever floats your boat really.
my advice, get less sub/amp...and get a second amp and big ole 6" round speakers that can handle some bass......it sound alot better in the cab. now if your jsut trying to attract attention by having your spoiler vibrate off....then buy all means...throw 3 15" in the trunk and let it role.....
I voted Nak...I have the CD400. Very simple design, orange illumination (switchable to green), nice remote, aux in for my IPOD, and looks stock (sorry, no bling factor).
Probably one of the better sounding headunits IMO.

every Eclipse HU i had worked perfect!! even JVC's lineup is nice...
Panasonic, which i don't see up there, is the worst POS HUs i ever seen(the chrome comes off of them weeks after purchase)... ANY series!! i had a Panasonic 7200 tv and it was the worst money i spent on electronics in my life... i would gladly take Sony over it and Sony makes garbage HUs as well... i have a friend who has the new touch screen 9200 Panasonic tv and it's pretty cool (until the warranty expires and it falls apart the next day)

I love Alpine stuff
if anyone needs a practically brand new(used 1mnth.) 9831 HU I have one for sale
I had RF stuff in my prelude and it was ok until I switched over to Alpine
what a difference

I am not a big car stereo guy and i never thought i would even go so far as to buy even a head unit. I was perfectly happy with my stock cd head unit.
I was at best buy the other day with my buddy and i saw the JVC KD-LH810. At first i realized how extremely well it matches the lancer interior. Honestly, the thing looks as though it was specifically made for the interior of our cars. I just had to buy it...
After installation, i noticed that not only does its styling and color match the interior perfectly, the lights behind the buttons perfectly match the red guages of the OZ lancer. I dont know why everyone is hating on JVC so bad but I am completely happy with this deck. Its FULLY customizable in everyway i can think possible. And it makes my stock speakers sound better and the radio clearer.
WOW!
