thats what i got, i know noting of alpines. is it a pretty good unit? i had just made a quick decision cause my old kenwood was driving me crazy with the volume knob not working. if i turned it, it would go up down or whatever the f it wanted to do. i love the ipod cable, 10x's better then fm transmitter.

 

Its a lower end alpine, but it will last you a while. Everyone I know that has an alpine has never had a problem. Mine is still running srtong and its almost 3 years old.

i just wanted someting better then that f'in kenwood. it pisses me off just thinking about it.


u know whats worse, is when me and wife get into it when im driving and i try to turn it up to drown her out it always went down... that always made things worse for me, then im pissed at her and the radio.

i just got a Alpine CDA-9885. lil more expensive head unit but im enjoying it so far.

 

Only thing I've got to comment about my Alpine is the screen decides sometimes not to turn on with the car. Then other times it's fine; just happens at start-up???

 

i like the new alpine models.
