1 jl audio 12w7 in a ported box tuned to 30hz. plus 1 1000/1 and youll sht on basicly anything out there with the exceptions of the big boys..

You are probably right, but i cant hear sq from a sub gobbling up 1k-3k watts and pumping out 135 +db. Especially when it is inside a trunk. =)

Not with the steering wheel controls. You have to use the controls built into the after market deck, and the microphone for the deck as well. Unless you can find someone that knows how to splice into the factory mic. As far as I know anyways, but if anyone has heard otherwise please correct me... so I can get mine working ;-)

I will be putting my metra dash kit in with a pioneer p4000 this weekend

 

theres some fitment issues b/c of the mold, but all in all I'm happy. If the OEM for the 2din wasn't so expensive i'd probably go with that, but still I'm not complaining bout the metra.

 

Yea at the time of that post i didnt have this w7, and while i like the clean sound, it still imo doesnt hit as hard as orion. I have had them both on this same amp, and they are totally different. I got a great deal on this sub n e way. Thats the only reason i got it. I do plan to off it for something else soon. It s just not enough. (of course when you are use to being around 150 db, its hard to please with anything less)
