man....Circuit City suckzzz (my amp/subs)
I buy online all of the time, but when it comes to buying cd decks online, it's almost a toss up whether to buy in store or not. CC & BB have policies for free install on cd decks over $100, which almost offsets the savings online, since you would have to pay for install. & it would be absolutely pathetic if either of those stores would f*ck up a cd deck install.
Thanx everybody for ya inputs.
you won't beleive this.
Well when I got the new Subwoofer installed. They said they had to do it bcuz if will void the free labor thingy.
So yeah there still no sound coming out..
well today I rewired the remote and the rca cables to the passenger side before I went to this audio shop I went before, and had the guy look at it...
he was thikin hard, but then took out the sub and what do you know!
one of the speaker wires werent even connected.
the guy at CC wanted me to beleive my amp was blown lol...i didnt tho..
I told him He was gonna be in my next book titled bull****

lol dont even get me started about bb or cc.. all they know is to sell and know nothing about anything in their store... their dork squad is worse all their techs are aholes
i can hook you up with a better system than u can make and i cud do it with my eyes shut.
i can tell you more about the computers and cameras i sell while taking a nap at the same
now if anyone would like to question me and my fellow employees capabilities this will be reported to evom staff and i will find all the other flames on my place of business
ill chime in....i work at cc in car audio installs and some of the stuff u said sounds true....but not all cc are the same. here in socal there are quite a few cc and not all the installers are good, some i wonder how they even got a job. You just have to look at there track record.(if possible for u) as far as our install bay we have alot stricter requirerments before pepole can work with us in the install bay(have to be trained and experienced). but like all places(car stereo) they are a hit and miss unless you know they do good work from experience.
This wasn't at your CC was it? http://consumerist.com/373753/circui...ge-to-your-car

I got a pioneer put in my car a while ago from CC and just thhis last year september i broughtit in to get checked out while i still had it under warranty..when the installer was puttin it back in..i see him hold up a wiring harness and said to the other guy..what's this for?
i just kinda laughed and havn't been back since
i work at cc also, except im in the tech department (not car electronics) selling computers and digital cameras. I know way more than most people about the stuff I sell, and I trust our install department to install everything for my 08 lancer. They have done a great professional job every time. I know not everyone is as fortunate to have a great circuit city like us around (not trying to sound arrogant), but not all places are bad. We have customers come in everyday saying that they were just at another circuit city and had a bad experience. If your unsure about a place, talk to the people first and see how much info they know, or look at their track record.
lol its not free, but i do get a discount. But those same guys are probably gonna be the ones that install most of my performance parts too. At our store alone, we have (Heavily modified of course) 2 BMW M3's, a Dodge -SRT4, a Monte carlo, Scion tC, and we had a 350z (until it crashed) and a Subaru STI (Until he got transfered). Our installers are also working on restoring one of our supervisors 1978 BMW, and it looks brand new so far, but they are still working on the electrical stuff. My car is the only one that isn't completely redone (performance and visual), but my car is also the car with no parts out for it yet.
Basically i what i'm getting at is I fully trust our installers to install just about anything (even a turbo). One time we had the car installers fabricate a new power button and shell for a lady's laptop. Usually by policy we would have to decline fixing it, but with solder and scrap parts the laptop worked better than before.
