Okay so i was on vacation in Orland and me and my boys were blasting the iPod and then all of a sudden it sounded like my sub got submerged in a lake... surely enough i blew it...

now i am looking for something that will fit in the sub housing that is already in the car and not going me make me buy a larger amp with it

Any suggestions??

I think it is covered under warranty so getting one for free is always good.

An aftermarket sub will fit with some mods to the box. There are several folks that did it. including me (Do a search). The problem you'll have is that the Rockford Amp will not be able to drive a better woofer effectively. It wont even be as loud as the stock sub.

Rockford Fosgate P3S seems to have the correct depth to fit the stock box if you're looking at a replacement from stock

Like it was said before, the stock amp has almost no power. If you are against putting in an amp then I would go with an inexpensive sub that requires un 100 watts. Or buy an enclosure from someone upgrading there system.

I'm looking for $150 for it. I also have the stock amp and the door speakers too.

Theyre all in great shape.
