Some of you guys like to bump REALLY old threads and ask for pictures. This site has been through 3-4 server changes in the past few years so im sure pictures are bound to be missing from older threads.

So why is it still a sticky thread? it should be unstuck if it doesnt have pictures... I think its close to impossible to compare and do most of these things with out pictures..

Still useful without the pix... cut up shoe inserts and start stuffing your rear deck until all the rattling stops.

I installed my subs and dynamatted my license plate and the panel right behind it, but there is still a rattle that is coming from near the rear wheels, seems to be coming from the rear bumper. Does anyone else have this same problem?

i noticed a difference in my trunk lid whenever i flipped the lock switch on the inside so it can only be opened by a key. less rattle.

i had the same problem.

It was attached to this plastic square thing that seemed like a cheap solution to stock sound deadening. I cut the little plastic part that was connected to a bolt with some sizzers. it was so thin it came right off. Thinking about it i probably could have just slightly tugged it to take it off lol.

but the physical noise comes from the metal bracket below it. The welds are pretty ****ty.

Mine rattled back and forth every time i closed or opened the door hahaha.
