Any direct replacement for rear deck speakes

Are there any speakers that are direct replacements for the rear deck. Like ones you do not have to make modifications to that will just fit?

Thanks.

Aren't they 6.5" speakers, like all of the previous lancer's? They should be the same as the front door panels. You are talking about the ones below the rear window & up/behind the bench seats right? Try going to circuitcity.com or bestbuy.com, checking out their car audio speakers, & select your car, they should give you the proper speaker size & options there. But, I'm 95% positive that they are 6.5" speakers.

6 1/2s are the size for the rear deck as well. Depth shouldn't matter much considering the speaker motors don't have anything to touch. The biggest problem isn't figuring out if you can drop em right in or not, it's matching power levels.

Picked up some P163C Rockford Fosgate Punch 6.5 speakers. They fit int he holes but I am going to have to drill new holes to hold them down. I was hoping to avoid that.

It says they come with speed clips but can not figure out how to use them.

These are the ones I got

By power levels I mean getting the right power to your speakers. Making sure your head unit can supply enough continuous watts to your speakers. Or getting an amp that does the job.

OH ok I have an amp that will be powering them. The amp is 50 rms and so are the speakers. So I got a good match just gotta take the time to do it.

I think you should forget about the rear and put those 6.5 up front.
