Quick question about burning songs to the Music Server
Can you only do it via a normal CD(and not an Mp3 CD). Burning CD's with 20 songs on them would seem to take a long time to do(and it would be costly)

I'm just saying out loud. If you're able to take out the hard drive (assuming the storage device is actually a standard format desktop or laptop hard drive) then you can hook it up to your PC and see what kind of music format it is using in that hard drive. If it is MP3, then maybe it is as simple as drag and drop all files to that hard drive.
When I get up the nerve (and free time) to rip out the HDD I will give it a shot. Someone has already removed the hard drive and played around with it but I don't know if they have checked for mp3 storage or anything. I know its just a standard laptop hard drive (preferably automobile grade) so I would assume it would be easy to add mp3s but who knows about the tag storage and such.
oh i can easily unlock it and slap it into my pc, thing is i think i found the one cd i let it copy... but it was in a numbered sequence file system and they ended in .sc if im remembering correctly, or if i was in the right partition
